Products: ‘Ganxet’ Haricot Beans

Description

Grown on land in the Vallès Oriental area to the west of Barcelona, one look at them is enough to explain their name, ‘ganxet’ – Catalan for ‘little hook’. Curved in shape, their skin is not noticeable, which is what gives them their particularly delicate texture on the palate.

For every new batch we purchase, we adjust the cooking time so that they are always cooked just the right amount.

As it is a floury type of bean, it absorbs the taste of foods with which it is cooked.
