Spinach with Raisins and Pine Nuts
With some good spinach leaves you can obtain a plate ready for consumption, adding Sultan raisins and pine nuts, cooked in pure virgin olive oil.
The flavor combination (sweet-salty) is common in different gastronomic cultures. The Mediterranean Kitchen counts with this delicious plate named, many years ago, Espinacas a la Catalana.
They can be consumed in an omelet; mixed with vegetables; stuff cannelloni and add béchamel; enrich them with bacon or ham, etc, etc.
They do not have any additives or preservatives.
To eat them you can just heat them in the pan or microwave oven.
